Gniazda szerszenia (Vespa crabro) na obszarze Łodzi - wstępna analiza rozmieszczenia Nadolski, Jerzy Preliminary results of investigation on the distribution of nests of the hornet within the area of Łódź in 1998 and 1999 are given. 25 nests in 1998 and only 8 nests in 1999 was found (8 8% of nests was found in buildings).

Szerszeń (Vespa crabro) w Łodzi - wstępna ocena epidemiologiczna Nadolski, Jerzy; Majczyna, Danuta; Loga, Barbara; Stańczyk-Lutz, Anna In the present paper some information on the potencial of the epidemiology hazard produced by community of hornet Vespa crabro is given. In nests of hornet recorded in Łódź, 24 species of pathogenic and conditional pathogenic bacteria were found. 75% of nests investigated in Łódź were found in apartament buildings.

Chruściki (Trichoptera) zagłębień śródpolnych południowej części Kujaw Majecki, Janusz Kettle holes are very characteristic elements of the landscape of the Kujawy. In 21 localities all together 26 species of caddis flies were collected. Two of them (Ylodes conspersus and Limnephilus auricula) are new for the area. Investigated holes had different species diversity. In some of them the number of species and specimens indicated their high value for conservation.
