Analisi delle denominazioni di malattie in lingua italiana, polacca e inglese in chiave contrastiva svolta sulla base di alcune entità nosologiche tratte dalla Classificazione ICD-10 dell’Organizzazione Mondiale della Sanità Berezowski, Łukasz Jan; Ciesielka, Joanna The article shall cover issues related to the plurality of names of diseases in Italian, Polish and English language. By making reference to their Latin etymology as well as to the multilingual corpus based on the ICD-10 classification provided by the World Health Organization, the authors aim at highlighting a number of translation problems of different categories of diseases by analyzing individual clinical entities from sociolinguistic approach including features such as eponyms, erudite and popular derivatives, Greek, Latin and Latinized forms. In this respect, the differences between various levels of medical communication shall be discussed as well as the frequency of use of some variant forms of diseases in Italian and Polish present within two reference corpora respectively (with a brief remark to English language). Finally, the authors shall point out selected examples of incorrectly rendered forms of diseases between Italian, Polish and English.; L’articolo toccherà argomenti relativi alla pluralità di denominazioni di malattie in lingua italiana, polacca e inglese. Facendo riferimento alla loro etimologia latina nonché al corpus terminologico plurilingue tratto dalla Classificazione ICD-10 dell’Organizzazione Mondiale della Sanità, gli autori metteranno in evidenza i problemi traduttivi di diverse categorie di entità nosologiche analizzando i loro nomi dal punto di vista sociolinguistico, tra i quali i termini eponimici, derivati dotti e popolari, forme greche, latine e latineggianti. In tale contesto si discuteranno le differenze tra i diversi livelli di discorso nella comunicazione medica e della frequenza d’uso di alcune forme varianti di malattie in italiano e in polacco nei rispettivi corpora di riferimento (con alcuni cenni al caso della lingua inglese). Da ultimo, gli autori menzioneranno esempi di forme difettose nella traduzione di malattie tra l’italiano, il polacco e l’inglese.

Berman l’intraduisible Ciobâcă, Carmen-Ecaterina The paper deals with the translation of the discourse pertaining to the field of Translation Studies. The case study under scrutiny is the chapter entitled “A Manifestation of Translation” in The Experience of the Foreign by Antoine Berman. We examine certain translation difficulties of Berman’s discourse and, in particular, the apparent untranslatability of key concepts of his work. Our approach starts with a general analysis of the translatability of Translation Studies works, which includes a review of the metalanguage. We then expose the fundamental principles of Berman’s philosophy in order to be able to identify, in the last part of the paper, the terminological and discursive challenges implied by the translation of Berman’s discourse.; Notre travail est une réflexion sur la traduction du discours traductologique. Prenant comme étude de cas le chapitre « La traduction au manifeste » de l’Épreuve de l’étranger d’Antoine Berman, nous examinons les difficultés de traduction du discours bermanien et, en particulier, l’apparente intraduisibilité des concepts-clés de l’ouvrage. Notre démarche commence par un examen général de la traduisibilité du discours traductologique, qui comprend une analyse des particularités du métalangage. Par la suite, nous passons en revue les axes fondamentaux de la philosophie de Berman, pour identifier dans la dernière partie les défis d’ordre terminologique et discursifs de la traduction du discours bermanien.

Sulla narrativa di Maurice Blanchot Crivella, Giuseppe Based on the analysis contained in the work of Philippe Hamon Rencontres sur tables et choses qui traînent. De la nature morte en littérature, this paper aims to develop some considerations on Maurice Blanchot’s fiction. In particular, our observations have as their field of study some passages from three works: Aminadab, La folie du jour and Le Très-Haut. In this way we can elaborate an interpretation of Blanchot’s récits in which the figure of the still life plays an absolutely essential and decisive role. Our analysis will focus on the way in which the notion of still life is transformed into a hermeneutic notion within which numerous specific and recurring elements of Blanchot’s narrative universes find a precise functional collocation and a clear conceptual delineation. Secondly, the correspondences between the French narrator and the theorist of descriptif will allow us to highlight in the conclusions a rich complex of themes and issues that not only deeply furrow the blanchotian narrative, but can also be found among numerous authors of French literature of the late twentieth century.; Partendo da una serie di analisi contenute nell’opera di Philippe Hamon Rencontres sur tables et choses qui traînent. De la nature morte en littérature, questo saggio punta a sviluppare alcune considerazioni aventi per oggetto la produzione narrativa di Maurice Blanchot. In particolare le nostre osservazioni si concentreranno su alcuni passaggi desunti da tre romanzi del pensatore francese: Aminadab, La folie du jour e Le Très-Haut. In tal modo potremo mettere a punto una prospettiva interpretativa dei récits blanchotiani in cui la nozione di natura morta gioca un ruolo di assoluta centralità. In particolare le nostre analisi si concentreranno sul modo in cui la nozione di natura morta riesce a tramutarsi in un terminale ermeneutico trasversale in seno al quale numerosi elementi specifici e ricorrenti degli universi narrativi di Blanchot trovano una precisa collocazione funzionale e una chiara delineazione concettuale. In seconda battuta, le corrispondenze enucleabili tra il narratore francese e il teorico del descrittivo ci permetteranno di portare in evidenza in sede di conclusioni un ricco plesso di temi e questioni che non solo solcano in profondità la narrativa blanchotiana, ma di fatto possono essere reperiti con una certa facilità presso numerosi autori della letteratura francese del secondo Novecento.
