<summary type="text">Komitet Rewitalizacji jako obligatoryjne narzędzie partycypacji społecznej w polskich gminach – perspektywa interesariuszy
Masierek, Edyta
Realizuje dwa cele: poznawczy i aplikacyjny. Do pozyskania opinii członków Komitetów Rewitalizacji wykorzystano badania kwestionariuszowe, wywiady pogłębione oraz warsztaty w formule World Café. Monografia powstała w ramach projektu „Interdyscyplinarne granty badawcze” – edycja 2023, realizowanego w związku z konkursem Inicjatywa Doskonałości – Uczelnia Badawcza (IDUB).; This monograph focuses on public participation in revitalisation, analysed both from a theoretical perspective and in the context of municipal management. It relates to revitalisation initiatives carried out in urban, urban-rural and rural municipalities following the adoption of the Revitalisation Act (2015). It pursues two objectives: cognitive and applied. The first is to assess the functioning of the Revitalisation Committee as a mandatory tool for social participation in revitalisation practice from a stakeholder perspective. The practical objective of the study, however, is to formulate recommendations supporting the development of this instrument in Poland. The monograph identifies, among other things, the necessary conditions for revitalisation as a specific spatial intervention, outlines the scope and objectives of public participation in revitalisation, and presents a typology of stakeholder roles. To gather the opinions of members of the Revitalisation Committees, questionnaire surveys, in-depth interviews and World Café-style workshops were used. Their results made it possible to demonstrate how this tool operates in practice and to identify its strengths and weaknesses, as well as the factors that support or limit its development and effectiveness. The analyses carried out indicated that the legal provisions concerning this tool in the Revitalisation Act (2015) allow for its flexible adaptation, taking into account the endogenous characteristics of the local authority for which it is established. In principle, the Revitalisation Committee can be an effective tool for public participation, but in practice its potential is not fully utilised. It clearly lacks agency, that is, the actual, tangible influence of stakeholders on every stage of the revitalisation process carried out in the municipality.

<summary type="text">Rozwój i struktura przestrzenna zjawiska krótkoterminowego najmu turystycznego w polskich miastach na przykładzie platformy Airbnb w Krakowie i Łodzi
Kacprzak, Karolina
W obu miastach największe wykorzystanie oferty następowało od piątku do niedzieli, w okresie letnim (zwłaszcza w wakacje), a także podczas tzw. długich weekendów oraz wydarzeń o randze ponadlokalnej i międzynarodowej.; This doctoral thesis examines the origins, development, structure, spatial distribution and detailed characteristics of the phenomenon of short-term tourist rentals offered by the Airbnb platform in Polish cities, using Krakow and Lodz as case studies. The thesis consists of two parts: a theoretical section and a research and analytical section. It sets out eight cognitive objectives (of a descriptive and explanatory nature) as well as a methodological and an applied objective. Four research hypotheses were formulated, which were confirmed in the course of the study. The study utilised quantitative and qualitative methods, including desk research (comprising a review of the literature, statistical data, data from the AirDNA website and a review of the local press). In addition, proprietary research methods and tools were developed and applied: a proprietary listing survey (AKO), which covered 5,200 Airbnb listings in Krakow and 822 listings in Lodz, and a daily measurement of listing volume (PWO). The research findings indicate, amongst other things, that despite significant differences in the scale of the phenomenon in both cities, it has developed dynamically and has been strongly concentrated in central districts from the outset. The structure of the listings in both cities shows many similarities. The dominant type of accommodation in both cities is an entire house or flat. The feature that most strongly differentiates the listings in the cities studied is access to additional services. An analysis of host characteristics showed that their profile is similar in both cities. One differentiating factor was their number. However, the level of professionalisation (the ratio of individual to professional hosts) was similar. In both cities, the highest uptake of the accommodation on offer occurred from Friday to Sunday, during the summer (particularly during the school holidays), as well as during so-called long weekends and events of supra-local and international significance.

The dataset deposited in the repository constitutes source material accompanying the publication “Has Warsaw internalised its low-emission zone? Changes in travel behaviour and air quality in the first year of the zone”, which presents an initial assessment of Warsaw’s Low-Emission Zone. The dataset covers three observation periods: March 2024 as the pre-implementation stage, October 2024 as the early post-implementation period, and March 2025 as the follow-up after the first months of the zone’s operation. The data are grouped into two analytical areas: the Low-Emission Zone and the remaining part of Warsaw.&#13;
The database consists of three complementary components: environmental data on PM1, PM2.5, PM10, NO2 and O3 concentrations; private transport data, including hourly traffic-volume profiles; and public transport data covering buses, trams and the metro, including passenger entries, exits, boardings and alightings. It also includes information enabling the analysis of fleet composition, vehicle emission standards, and differences between days of the week and times of day.&#13;
The dataset makes it possible to reproduce the key analyses presented in the article, including temporal and spatial comparisons, peak-hour identification, assessment of changes in travel behaviour, and comparison of these changes with observed air-quality indicators. The data are aggregated and intended to support transparency, reproducibility and further research on the effects of urban low-emission zones.
This repository dataset accompanies the article “Has Warsaw internalised its low-emission zone? Changes in travel behaviour and air quality in the first year of the zone”. It contains aggregated empirical material used to assess the first year of Warsaw’s Low-Emission Zone, introduced on 1 July 2024. The dataset covers three observation windows: March 2024 as the pre-implementation baseline, October 2024 as the early post-implementation stage, and March 2025 as the first-year follow-up. Data are organised for two spatial units: the Low-Emission Zone and the remaining area of Warsaw.&#13;
The database consists of three complementary components. The environmental component includes air-quality indicators for PM1, PM2.5, PM10, NO2 and O3. The private transport component contains hourly traffic-count profiles from monitored road intersections. The public transport component includes data for buses, trams and the metro, covering passenger entries, exits, boardings and alightings, together with information on propulsion type and vehicle emission standards. The structure of the dataset enables analyses by month, area, day of week and hour of day.&#13;
The dataset supports replication and further development of the analyses presented in the article, including temporal-profile comparisons, peak-hour identification, modal-balance assessment, analysis of public-transport fleet composition and descriptive comparison of air-quality indicators. It is intended to enhance transparency, reproducibility and reuse of the research results. The dataset was compiled as part of research project no. 2024/53/B/HS4/00389, financed by the National Science Centre in Poland.&#13;
