Large competition from the foreign agriculture forced the Polish farmers to associate themselves in producer groups. The experiences of many countries leading in the development of the agrarian sector of economy show that one of the important ways to achieve competitive advantage of a farm, which will guarantee it a firm position on the market, is group cooperation. Functioning in a group, allows its members (the farmers), not only to take part in the production of goods, but also in the ensuing stages on their processing and turnover. In the following article depicted is the horizontal integration status of agricultural holdings of Pomerania Region. The article also discusses the quantitative development of the agriculture producer groups, their spatial system and breakdown due to chosen legal form and business structure. In the Pomeranian 48 farm producer groups arose the after integration with the European Union. Most of them, was localized in regions of intensive agriculture with high quality of agricultural producing space. The legal form most commonly chosen when creating a group was a limited liability company (74,5%). In business structure the first place was taken by groups producing grain and oilseeds (54,1%), the second place simultaneously the producers of poultry, animals and swine, milk and potatoes, fresh or chilled (8,3% respectively after). Should hope that this group organization form springing from the authentic rural cooperatives will help to solve if not all, then at least some of the problems facing Pomeranian agriculture. Moreover, a group of agricultural producers will have an influence on the further development of rural areas of Pomerania.; W artykule przedstawiono stan zorganizowania grup producentów rolnych w województwie pomorskim.

The aim of this papers is to analyze the environmental conditions Kuyavian- -Pomeranian Voivodeship for touristics functions as a factor of economic development. The basis for analysis was synthetic indicator was work out taking into the consideration area of forest, lakes protected areas as well as natural monuments. Kuyavian-Pomerianian Voivodeship has different natural values. A lot of lakes is located in the southern and north-eastern parts. Forests are in the north, in the center of the region and in the valleys of the Vistula and Drwęca rivers. In these areas, with high natural beauty, tourism is welldeveloped. Tourism function was examined by using synthetic measure. It takes into account indicators Baretje-Defert, density accommodation, Schneider and Defert. However, comparing to the tourist regions of the country, in rural areas of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship tourism is at a low level. Therefore, to test a smaller region other criteria should be adopted. The application of the criteria used to test the tourist regions gives a little different view. Many of the attractive areas have a poorly developed tourist function. The most often there are regions with many forests and lakes, but their tourist centre is a small town. For this reason in the study of rural areas should be take into account the whole region, together with the towns. Tourist function also occurs in rural areas, located in the suburban area of the big cities. This area is for the inhabitants of the cities nearest tourist area, where they can relax and go away for the weekend. In the rural economy of Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship tourism does not matter much. This is due to the agricultural nature of the region. Two areas ‒ Kujawy Black and Chełmno Land ‒ have very good conditions for growing plants. In other regions there are worse soil (Kujawy White and Dobrzyń Land), but their agricultural nature stems from the historical past. In the voivodeship is not used a full chance to increase income of rural population by conducting farm tourism. Such farms are present in greater numbers in some municipalities, mainly in the north of the region. Tourism have a local significance only in places where tourists come attracted by natural beauty (landscape parks) or anthropogenic values (Biskupin).; Opracowanie porusza problem zróżnicowania walorów przyrodniczych, ich wpływu na rozwój turystyki i metod badania funkcji turystycznej w skali regionalnej. Analizie poddane zostały również czynniki wpływające na słabszy rozwój turystyki w niektórych regionach województwa kujawsko-pomorskiego, jak również opisano wpływ turystyki na gospodarkę lokalną obszarów wiejskich województwa.

The Lublin province is commonly perceived as a region with dominance of rural areas with rather low level of socio-economic development. The basic drawback of the province is monofunctional character of its economy, orientated towards agriculture. Moreover, regional method of agricultural management can be seen as traditional, little competitive and effective. Additionally, due to poor level of infrastructure and peripheral localization, rural areas have inconsiderable chances to attract industry investments. All disadvantages, mentioned above, motivate to the search for new ways of development of the rural areas in the province. Both regional and local authorities see opportunities of economic boost in tourism. It is a very frequent conviction that tourism can be efficient solution for overcoming economic difficulties and method of diversification of economy in the agricultural areas which do not have much productive potential. As for the Lublin province, it must be stated that it possess precious and diverse sources of tourist attractions, both natural and cultural. Among cultural values, the sacred ones are especially significant because they are traces and witnesses of former multicultural and multireligious character of the Lublin region. They are also excellent premises for advance of religious tourism in the rural areas of the region. Thanks to adequate usage of the sacred resources, this kind of economic activity could give extensive benefits for local societies and support varied development of the countryside. Religious tourism can contribute to creating small enterprises and become new sources of income for individual farmers. But there are some barriers that confine opportunities to develop that kind of tourist movement in the rural areas of the Lublin region. First of all, it is a general weak state of tourist infrastructure including that one connected with pilgrimages centers and other places with sacred buildings and religious events. Besides, there is an evident lack of professional promotion and elaborated tourist offer of products of religious tourism. It seems that this form of tourism is not emphasized strongly enough in regional and local development strategies. To summarize, there is no doubt that religious tourism can be particular distinguishing mark of the Lublin province and can strengthen economy of the regional rural areas. But considerable potential of sacred values should be suitably exploited, tourist infrastructure must be improved and enlarged and finally thematic tourist products ought to be elaborated. On account of universal benefits, in all those undertakings, local authorities as well as the inhabitants should be involved.; Artykuł dotyczy możliwości rozwoju jednej z coraz bardziej popularnych form turystyki, mianowicie turystyki religijnej na terenach wiejskich województwa lubelskiego.
