In this paper the classification of data obtained in the survey of Silesian businesses is presented.&#13;
The survey was aimed at production, commerce and service enterprises, The main objective&#13;
was to classify the factors determining the virtual supply chain consisting of IT and communication&#13;
systems logistic competences and the transport-spedition-logistic branch. Due to the&#13;
qualitative and quantitative character of variables, methods based on varying similarity measures&#13;
were used.

<title>Test symetryczności Li</title>

<description>Test symetryczności Li
Baszczyńska, Aleksandra
Symmetry test proposed by Li in 1997, is a test that uses kernel method. In the statistical inference&#13;
using kernel methods, we need to determine the kernel function and the smoothing parameter. The&#13;
author analyzes the influence of choice of the kernel function and smoothing parameter for&#13;
a procedure of verification the hypothesis of random variable distribution symmetry. Li symmetry&#13;
test is also used in the analysis of Human Development Index.

<title>Zastosowanie modeli ARIMA w badaniach nad stresem ekonomicznym wpływającym na kondycję biologiczną populacji ludzkich</title>

The research on the relations between economic stress and the value of secondary sex ratio&#13;
(SSR) was initiated by Trivers and Willard (1973). The seminal study in this field speculated that&#13;
smaller (than needed) consumption of goods and services might sufficiently stress human populations&#13;
and make the secondary sex ratio lower.&#13;
In order to verify the hypothesis that the observed time-series of secondary sex ratio (SSR) in&#13;
Poland is declining with the deterioration in „economic conditions”, the ARIMA mathematic&#13;
model of both analysed phenomena (according to the statistical procedure proposed by Catalano&#13;
and Bruckner (2005)) was constructed. The analysis is an attempt to answer the question: if the&#13;
statistically important decline of SSR in Poland after the Second World War was an effect of&#13;
deterioration of economic condition.
