| dc.description.abstract | The article deals with analysis of characteristic phenomena and development trends, which occurred in activities of employment agencies in the administrative province of Lodz between 1981 and 1985. The analysis has encompassed the nunber and structure of job-seekers, vacant jobs, and disproportions between the number of job-seekers and vacant jobs in different cross-sections. The performed analysis has been based on statistical data collected by the Provincial Department of Employment and Socio-Welfare Affairs in the Municipal Office of Lodz. It has allowed to formulate several conclusions, which concern, first of all, evaluation of effectiveness of new instruments of the employment policy introduced by the economic reform. | pl_PL |
