Biotechnology is a science with huge future potential for human life and industries. In Life Science industry scientists possessing original research results often meet the financing barriers during commercialization process development . Venture capital investors may be helpful here. They have many advantages and some disadvantages. However, the most important is their experience and the ability to manage the risky investments. They can help the small biotechnology companies to skip the barriers of entry such complex industries, as e.g. pharmaceuticals. In this article two kinds of venture capital investors is described: traditional venture capital and very popular in the last few years corporate ventures, created by big pharmaceutical companies.
