Influence of Electrode Polishing Protocols, Potentiostat Models, and LOD Calculation Methods on the Electroanalytical Performance of SWV Measurements at Glassy Carbon Electrodes. Molecules 2025, 30, 4651. https://doi.org/10.3390/molecules30234651 In the file, measurement data obtained during voltammetric studies are provided. They present analyses carried out using different potentiostats, as well as various electrode surface renewal (cleaning/polishing) methods.pl_PL
The study focused on evaluating the effect of electrode surface preparation on electrochemical measurements. In particular, the influence of different polishing protocols applied to carbon electrodes was investigated with respect to the electroactive surface area and the repeatability of the electrochemical response. The mechanical cleaning procedure of the solid disc electrode was systematically examined by testing various polishing motions and numbers of repetitions. The results demonstrated that the polishing method significantly affects both the electroactive surface area and measurement repeatability. The highest surface area and best repeatability were achieved using an “8-shaped” polishing motion. These findings confirm that electrode surface preparation plays a critical role in obtaining reliable and reproducible electroanalytical data.pl_PL
