<summary type="text">Kinetics of the reaction of thiourea with methyl iodide

Kinetics of the reaction of thiourea with methyl iodide&#13;
in aqueous solutions at the temperatures 25°, 35° and 40°C&#13;
has been investigated.&#13;
The reaction was found to be dimolecular. The rate of&#13;
the reaction is not affected by pH of solution with in the&#13;
range 4.00 - 9.06. Activation energy of the reactions is&#13;
74.07 KJ/mole K.; Badano kinetykę reakcji tiomocznika z jodkiem metylu w roztworach wodnych w temperaturze 25°, 35° and 40°C. Stwierdzono, że&#13;
jest to reakcja dwucząsteczkowa. Na szybkość reakcji nie wpływa&#13;
pH roztworu w zakresie 4.00 - 9.06. Energia aktywacji reakcji wynosi 74.07 kJ/mol K.

Enthalpy of solution of NaI in water-isopropanol mixtures with the addition of formamide and of N,N-dimethylformamide&#13;
was measured. The course of relation of standard enthalpy of NaI solution in the investigated mixed&#13;
solvents vs. alcohol and amide contents was discussed.

The viscosity of NaI solutions in mixed water-acetamide&#13;
solvents over the temperature range 25-85°C has been measured. The dependence of viscosity, relative viscosity&#13;
and the thermodynamic functions of activation for fluid&#13;
flow of Investigated solutions on the concentration and&#13;
temperature has been discussed. The conclusions about the&#13;
effect of NaI and acetamide on the structure of investigated systems have been drawn.; Zmierzono lepkość roztworów NaI w mieszanych rozpuszczalnikach wodnoacetamidowych w zakresie temperatury  25-85°C. Przedyskutowano zależność lepkości, lepkości względnej oraz&#13;
termodynamicznych aktywacji lepkiego przepływu badanych&#13;
roztworów w zależności od stężenia roztworu i temperatury.&#13;
Wysnuto wnioski dotyczące wpływu NaI i acetamidu na strukturę badanych układów.
