<summary type="text">Electrochemical characteristic of some metal carbides
Hofman, Bożenna; Scholl, Henryk
Potentiodynamic and quasipotcntiootatic method were;&#13;
applied in the electrochemical Investigations of carbides.&#13;
These invest igations wero conducted with’’glued"&#13;
powder electrodes.&#13;
Polarization corves obtained for Cr₃C₂, Cr₇C₃, Cr₂₃C₆&#13;
and Fe, Cr₂₃C₆, carbides in 0,5 M H₂SO₄, are due&#13;
to produce a qualitative and quantitative characteristic&#13;
of the electrodes.&#13;
Tafel’s coefficients, corrosion potentials and their&#13;
pH - dependences were obtained.; Do elektrochemicznych badań węglików metodami quasipotencjostatycznymi i potencjodynamicznymi zaproponowano proszkowe,&#13;
klejone elektrody. Otrzymano krzywe polaryzacyjne węglików&#13;
Cr₃C₂, Cr₇C₃, Cr₂₃C₆ i Fe, Cr₂₃C₆ w 0,5 M H₂SO₄ pozwalające&#13;
na jakościową i ilościową charakterystykę materiału elektrodowego.&#13;
Wyznaczono wartości współczynników Tafela, potencjałów&#13;
korozji i wpływu pH na wartości potencjałów korozji.

Density and viscosity measurements were made of NaI&#13;
and KNO₃, solutions (concentration 1.0 mole electrolyte&#13;
per lOO mole mixed solvent)in the temperature range&#13;
of 293.15 - 313.15 K.
