In the article aristocratic mentality has been analyzed and reconstructed in detail. Wie dieses Problem am Anfang der deutschsprachigen (aber auch mehrsprachigen) Presse in Lodz ausgesehen hat, zeigt der Artikel am Beispiel der “Lodzer Zeitung” 1863-1915. Die Wahl der untersuchten Texte fällt hauptsächlich auf Anzeigen, Bekanntmachungen und Todesanzeigen aus den Jahren 1867 und 1914. Emotionen als Ansporn des Schreibens und deren Widerspiegelung in der Sprache gewählter Texte sind in den Anfängen des Pressewesens, genauso wie heute, nicht zu übersehen.
