Andrzej Fidyk is a documentary director. He documents reality using devices familiar to a typical director. He goes around the world, showcasing the unknown, and other cultures and traditions for his viewers. “Calcutta’s Moviegoers” is a film about India’s love for its native cinema. Fidyk shows the culture of India, and the rituals of the country by observing Indians, their behaviour, and their approach to tradition. In his research, he is an “anthropologist” with a camera.

Szews, Przemysław
A microblog is a common concept in the new media framework. There is still no precise definition of the microblog or an answer to the question whether it is a variety of blog or a separate genre. Communication within micro-blogging is limited, which is why characteristic acronyms, language structures and vocabulary were developed. Websites like Twitter are used in politics, journalism and marketing. These websites are often a valuable source of information and the fastest information transmission channel for journalists. The microblog shares some features with the blog, but differences between them are visible: the microblog is not so thematically restricted, it has its own individual style and informative and communicative function, and it is more interactive and more frequently updated. According to such communication features, it is possible to define it as a new, separate internet genre.

Barczyk, Agnieszka
The subject of this paper is a TV show by Łukasz Jakóbiak, „20m Łukasza” (“20 square meters of Lucas”), which has aired since May 2012. The program, inter preted as an internet talk-show, is a starting point in discussing the genealogical status of the TV production. The article consists of three parts: the first introduces the elements typical of the talk show, the second concentrates on the show being discussed, and the third tries to answer the provided question. The author proposes three views instead of just one solution: type variety, new genre and a new name for an old product.
