It serves as a commentary to the legend of the map representing the real vegetation of that region in the working scale of 1:5000. The aim of the present paper is to learn abiotic factors of habitats within five reserves (Dęby in Meszcze, Meszcze, Lubiaszów, Konewka and Spala) situated along the left bank of the Pilica River. On the basis of specialistic literature, the author has characterized essential components of epigeosphera of the Piotrków Plain region, which constitutes a wider background of the analysed reserves. Field researches have provided materials to characterize spatial differentiation of epigeosphera constituents as well as to distinguish and characterize geocomplex types of reserve grounds. 1996-01-01T00:00:00Z
