<description>Wpływ informacji medialnej na odtwarzanie pamięci zdarzeń
Śliwerski, Andrzej
This article focuses on the assessment of the credibility of the witnesses’ testimony. Conway model of autobiographical memory, and the theory of incorrect attribution sources indicates that our memory is based both on the original record of events and on additional information. If the new information is incorrect, the memory may become distorted.&#13;
In the first part of the article are described mechanisms of autobiographical memory, which can lead to distortions of the original memory trace.&#13;
The second part are devoted to empirical verification of the hypothesis that the media information distorts the eyewitness memory of an event.

The results of the survey conducted on 70 people: 37 students of philosophy and 33 students of other courses at University of Lodz let us reject rules theory as a predictive to the proceedings of reasoning process and induce to accept an alternative theory explaining the proceedings of the discussed process.&#13;
The adduced research proved that the level of logical competence does not differentiate the surveyed with respect to the level of reasoning’s correctness and it does not influence the constancy of selection of the reasoning’s patterns.

In the field of work psychology there are posed questions and solved problems which concern individual effectiveness and satisfaction in one's occupational activity. Job is many times related with onerousness, the size of which is modified by personal and situational determinants.&#13;
The current article contains presentation of theoretical and empirical analyses regarding job onerousness characteristic for the situation of managing one's own enterprise.&#13;
Two aspects of that onerousness have been distinguished: perceived onerousness (job onerousness perception) and onerousness experienced as psychological costs (psychological costs of work). Researches have been made to examine whether these aspects are modified by some other determinants (both personal and situational determinants have been included). The performed analyses have proved that perceived onerousness depends on temporary engagement in job and financial gratification, and psychological costs of work are determined by neuroticism mainly.
