<description>Mojość, Inny, Świat. Analiza porównawcza filozofii Charles'a Taylora oraz Martina Heideggera
Hładyłowicz, Joanna
This article is a comparative analysis between Charles Taylor's and Martin Heidegger's philosophy focusing on three main terms: mine-ness, other and world.  It is a search for similarities and differences between these terms. In the view of results, mine-ness appears to be the most similar aspect of these two philosophies.  It is a core term used for describing both Dasein and self. Close similarities have been marked for the "world" as well. These parallels are based on philosophers understanding of this word, of what it means to "self" and how this includes "others". The article is divided into three parts, each dedicated to one of the main themes of this work.Concluding, although there are some similarities and differences between Taylor's and Heidegger's philosophies and that there is a significant time gap between the main works concerning discussed in this article issues, what makes them most alike is how still up-to-date these philosophies are.

<title>Koncepcja wolności w filozofii Fryderyka Nietzschego</title>
<link>http://hdl.handle.net/11089/42084</link>
<description>Koncepcja wolności w filozofii Fryderyka Nietzschego
Dżugaj, Marcin
The article presents the conception of freedom in Nietzsche's thought in the three periods of his writings. In the first period Nietzsche believe that freedom is connected with estethical-tragic contempletion in the Greek tragedy. He also points out that freedom is culture-forming act in the unity with oneself and with the world. In the second period Nietzsche says that to become truly free is to liberate oneself from the metaphysics and religious tradition. In the third period Nietzsche is convinced that only those who have gived themselves the law which is an expression of their nature are truly free.

<title>On the Genealogy of the Modern Experience of Consciousness. Christian Self-Examination</title>
<link>http://hdl.handle.net/11089/42083</link>
<description>On the Genealogy of the Modern Experience of Consciousness. Christian Self-Examination
Wawrzyniak, Szymon
The article aims to investigate the modern self-experience of an individual from the point of view of the historical conditions that make this experience possible. This undertaking will be supported by the turn to a theory and practice of self-examination as it appears in early Christianity. It is widely recognized that there is a connection between modernity and subjectivity. One of the areas where it is reflected is philosophy. By founding the paradigm of modern philosophy, Descartes finds in his turn to himself a certain basis of cognition and a space where forward progress in the process of building a new system of knowledge may take effect. For Descartes consciousness is, however, a means, not an end. This is one of the reasons why it is not "questioned" sufficiently. Among many questions that were not addressed at all for a long time, one should mention, how the experience on which Descartes bases his reasoning became possible. In the history preceding the Cartesian turn inward, we can identify many interesting moments - which can be found with great confirmation in early Christianity - that play a significant role in the constitution of the experience that will become so important for modernity.
