<title>Mazurzenie w drugiej i trzeciej części Psałterza floriańskiego</title>
<link>http://hdl.handle.net/11089/16640</link>
<description>Mazurzenie w drugiej i trzeciej części Psałterza floriańskiego
Cybulski, Marek
A review of the text of the Psalter of St. Florian indicates the necessity for a revision of S. Rospond's theory of the obvious Mazovian features of the second and third copyists. It occurs that the second copyist certainly did not exhibit any Mazovian features while nothing certain can be said of the third one. Such conclusion seems to confirm another theory by S. Respond according to which there existed a Great-Polish original manuscript of the Psalter.

<title>Metody dialektologiczne w onomastyce</title>
<link>http://hdl.handle.net/11089/15151</link>
<description>Metody dialektologiczne w onomastyce
Rzetelska-Feleszko, Ewa
Dialectology and onomastics are two lines of linguistic science. Dialectology&#13;
aims at presenting the dialectal system as a whole; onomastics examines&#13;
only a part of the lexical system - the proper names. There are two&#13;
features common for these two lines of research; the geographical location of&#13;
linguistic facts and the diachronic approach. Their methods are intertwined.&#13;
However, due to the earlier development of dialectology (both European and&#13;
Polish) it is only natural for the slightly younger onomastic linguistics to&#13;
draw on the dialectological research methods. It is especially true of ways&#13;
in which the linguistic data are collected and in which the results are published&#13;
(the use of folk dialects etc.). Dialectal material has become a basis&#13;
for the onomastic analysis, especially in studies of country locality names,&#13;
folk personal names and zoonymy. The adaptation of dialectological methods&#13;
is even more prominent in the publication of results where onomastics&#13;
makes use of synthetic cartographical formulations patterned on the formulations&#13;
characteristic of dialectology. Onomastic maps usually present&#13;
little technical complexity; they serve for presentation of the distribution&#13;
of a studied type of names in the researched area or on the whole of Polish&#13;
territory. Some authors (e.g. S. Rospond, A. Zaręba) introduce certain&#13;
cartographical innovations in their formulations. An example of a parallel&#13;
analytical and synthetic formulation are maps by J. Duma and by the author&#13;
of this paper in a study A Research of River-Names in Pomerania arid Great-&#13;
-Poland by Cartographical Method ' ( "Onomastica" 1980). The most serious onomastic&#13;
undertaking patterned on dialectal atlases takes form of attempts to&#13;
compile a Slavonic onomastic atlas.

<title>Dialektologia a socjolingwistyka</title>
<link>http://hdl.handle.net/11089/15149</link>
<description>Dialektologia a socjolingwistyka
Dunaj, Bogusław
The paper starts with a presentation of circumstances under which dialectology&#13;
 developed in the 2nd half of the 19th century. The growth of sociolinguistics&#13;
 dates back to the turn of the 50's and 60’s of the 20th century. The&#13;
 dialectological research methods have been of little usf for sociolinguists. On&#13;
 the other hand the methods developed in sociolinguistics may be applied in dialectology.&#13;
 In the first place much more attention should be given to the hierarchical&#13;
 (social) differentiation of peasant cosnunities. A desciption should&#13;
 include not only age but also such factors as sex, jobs in town, or social status. Secondly, a research of the situationally conditioned variability should be introduced, aiming at the determination of the degree to Which the official&#13;
 (as opposed to unofficial) situation contributes to the repression of&#13;
 dialectal forms by their literary equivalents in the process of speech.The concluding, part of the article is devoted to a description of the methods of&#13;
 Such research.
