Teoria i praktyka intersekcjonalności w nauczaniu akademickim

Abstract

Problematyka teorii intersekcjonalności i metodologia empirycznych badań intersekcjonalnych są omówione w pierwszej części artykułu. Druga część jest poświęcona nowatorskiej metodologii łączącej koncept intersekcjonalności i zaangażowanego odbioru dzieła filmowego, po raz pierwszy zastosowanej na zajęciach programu GEMMA i MISHD, prowadzonych w Ośrodku Naukowo-Badawczym Problematyki Kobiet WSMiP UŁ. Zastosowanie instrumentarium dydaktycznego w postaci dziennika zajęć i eseju narracyjnego umożliwia analizę subiektywnego, zaangażowanego odbioru dzieła filmowego, a jednocześnie stymuluje introspektywną refleksję studentów nad własnym życiem.

Theory of intersectionality and methodology of conducting empirical research on intersectionality constitute the first part of the article. The second part is devoted to the presentation of a novel methodology, which combines intersectional methodology with the concept of audiencing, for the first time introduced in my teaching of courses in GEMMA and MISHD programmes at the Women’s Studies Centre, WSMiP-University of Łódź. The introduction of such didactic instruments as a student journal and personal narrative essay makes it possible to perform an analysis of subjectivised reception of film and, additionally, stimulates students’ retrospective reflection on their own life.
