Abstract

W procesie budowania i powielania francusko-angielskich stereotypów i uprzedzeń dużą rolę odgrywa kultura i historia obu krajów. Autorka bada źródła „odwiecznego konfliktu” między narodem francuskim i angielskim oraz analizuje, w jaki sposób jest on realizowany we współczesnym dyskursie zarówno historycznym, jak i politycznym we wspomnianych państwach.

French and English culture and history use to play an important role in the process of building and replicating both anti-French and anti-English stereotypes and prejudices. The author aims to investigate the sources of the „eternal conflict‟ between French-and Englishmen, as well as analyses how the mentioned conflict would be exploited within the historical and political debates nowadays.
