Kultura a moralność - głos w sprawie delimitacji

Abstract

Dla współczesnych filozoficznych koncepcji człowieka sytuowanie go w sferze kultury jest czymś oczywistym i bezdyskusyjnym. Człowiek porusza się w szeroko rozumianej obszar kultury i zagospodarowuje ją uwzględniając poszczególne jej obszary, jak np. obszar techniki, sztuki, moralności. Jednak pytanie o swoistość (specyfikę) przestrzeni etycznej wydaje się wciąż aktualne. Argumentem za jej szczególnym traktowaniem jest okoliczność, że człowiek dopiero dzięki niej może w pełni afirmować swoje człowieczeństwo. Pojawia się kwestia: Czy sfera etyczna należy bez reszty do obszaru kultury i w nim posiada swoją genezę, i czy powinna być diagnozowana za pomocą środków immanentnie należących do obszaru kultury?

Culture versus Morality - Comments on Delimitation Contemporary philosophical conceptions of man place him in the field of culture. That culture is an environment of man is obvious and undisputed. Man is surrounded by the area of culture (in broad sense) which he uses and from which he takes profits. However the question of specificity of this area is still current. Special value of culture can be explained by the fact tht only due to it man can fully take advantage of his humanity. Trying to understand yhe dependence betveen culture and morality we should pose these questiones: is ethics a part of culture; does it have its roots in culture; should we talk about ethics using we talk about ethics using categories specific for culture?
