The aim of this article is to identify factors limiting chance among people with disabilities to find a job in the labor market in Poland in the years 2013-2017. To analyze occupational activity, statistical and empirical material in Poland was used provided by the Central Statistical Office (GUS) as part of the Labor Force Survey (LFS), reports of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy. In spite of the work is an important part of every person’s life - disabled people in Poland exhibit low occupational activity. From a social point of view work creates opportunities for the development of human personality, enables and develops their contact with non-disabled people and creates a chance for realizing common ideas. From an economic point of view a wage getting from work becomes a source of livelihood and a means of satisfying basic needs. What’s more a working disabled person pays taxes and contributes to the increase in the local budget.pl_PL
