Jedność, pokój, literatura. Wartości bahaizmu a twórczość grupy Ar-Rabita al-Kalamijja

Abstract

Artykuł omawia wybrane fragmenty dzieł autorów skupionych wokół ugrupowania literackiego Ar-Rabita al-Kalamijja – Dżubrana Chalila Dżubrana (The Prophet), Micha’ila Nu’ajmy (The Book of Mirdad) oraz Amina ar-Rajhaniego (The Book of Khalid), wskazując na obecność w ich tekstach idei korespondujących z naukami bahaizmu. Z wykorzystaniem analizy stylistycznej i perspektywy postsekularnej ukazano, jak idee jedności, pokoju oraz miłości wpisują się w twórczość arabsko-amerykańskich pisarzy. Choć brak jednoznacznych dowodów na bezpośrednią inspirację bahaizmem, paralele te pozwalają traktować literaturę Mahdżaru jako przestrzeń dialogu międzykulturowego i duchowej odnowy.

The article examines selected passages from the works of authors affiliated with the literary society Ar-Rabita al-Qalamiyya – Khalil Gibran (The Prophet), Mikhail Naimy (The Book of Mirdad), and Ameen Rihani (The Book of Khalid) in order to highlight ideas in their writings that resonate with the teachings of the Bahá’í Faith. Through stylistic and postsecular analysis, the study demonstrates how the ideas of unity, peace and love are reflected in the works of Arab-American writers. Although there is no clear evidence of direct Bahá’í influence, these parallels allow the Mahjar literature to be interpreted as a space of intercultural dialogue and spiritual renewal.
