Abstract

This article presents changes in the open access to the library holdings in The Library of Łódź University, which was initially limited to a small reference collection and nowadays is spread to extensive mulitidisciplinary holdings. Additionally, it presents organizational, technological, and modern architectural solutions for users which create a friendly atmosphere in the Library.
