Liryka Czesława Miłosza wobec tradycji polskiego baroku
Streszczenie
The subject of the study is tracing analogies between the poetry of Miłosz
and the production of Polish baroque poets, e.g. the attitude of a learned
artist (artlfex doctus), the reasons for his interest In baroque, his active
involvement in the literary tradition, "polyphony" of poetic expression,
masterly skill of pastiche stylization, lyric of the role, instrumentality
of romantic literature, interest in problems of theology, mysticism and metaphysics.
Subsequently, the attitude of Miłosz to the old-Polish and romantic Hessian
ism has been discussed, as well as bis opinions of Polish baroque, his
views of history, the burden of the past on the contemporary generations, passing
away of communities and nations, functioning of political structures and
exercise of power.
The next set of themes, characteristic for baroque and present in the
poetry of Miłosz consists of Christian religion, affirmation of life, war and autothemes. The subject of a separate analysis has been Miłosz's stylization
and pastiche of baroque poetry, in particular the "Easter 1620 Discourse"
and cosnon sources of inspiration (régionalisait influenco of painting, sculpture
and architecture on poetry; application of lights the myths of Arcadia
and catastrophe).
