Abstract
The aim of the article is a try to find an answer if teaching of quantitative subjects with utilization
of statistical computational package increases of students ability in relation to complicated
economic and social problems, solving economic problems and making decisions.
Tо obtain the answer for the above-cited question the survey research was made among students
of the third year of the stationary studies at Faculty of Economins and Organisation of Food
Economy, University of Agriculture in Szczecin in the summer term of the 2007/2008.
