Abstract

Camp of National Unity served as the organizational structure and powerbase for holding the reins of government Marshall Józef Piłsudski followers background in Poland known as “Sanacja” movement. The implementation of the national consolidation was the most important part of the OZN political program during a short period of its exist. The Rural Organization of a OZN was designed to provide a platform for interaction with farmers and pro-government associations and has taken efforts to revive their political activity. Organizational structures in the voivodship of Lodz organized numerous meetings and conventions, during which called for the unity and support for the government. Weak response for actions organized under the auspices of Rural Organization provide the conclusion that the establishment and activity of the rural sector structures proved to be largely unsuccessful. Nevertheless OZN expressed a political offensive of the government and allowed “Sanacja” movement to survive the political crisis after the death of Marshall Piłsudski.
