Miejsce i rola hoteli ekonomicznych w obsłudze różnych klientów sektora rynku turystycznego
Streszczenie
Lodging buildings, especially contemporary, well-planned hotels are adapted
to satisfy a very wide range of needs of a travelling person. In the study there
has been indicated a particular type of hotels which are economic buildings, in
other words ‘cheap’. On the hotel building market there are different kinds of
hotel guests with diverse demands. Various sorts of hotel guests’ activities
should persuade administrators to analyse economic forms and methods of
customer service. One of the most used ways of hotel classification is their
division into categories, which are, on the other hand, established on the basis
of number and quality of provided services. Economic hotels do not have
a clearly formulated and recognized definition. In relation to traditional hotels
they are distinguished by price and location. They are characterized by a limited
range of gastronomic services – often offered in additional buildings, using
standard service procedures, lower charges than those provided by norms, lack
of room service, rooms without telephones, reception open in the morning and
evening hours and a good standard of provided services. Economic hotels direct
their offer towards less wealthy customers. Cheap hotels generally count on
small businessmen and customers of low cost airlines.
