Abstract

This memoir is devoted to Professor Sławomir Gala, who died on December 11, 2013, and whose death filled all his employees and colleagues with deep sadness. The authors give a broad outline of the Professor – an outstanding academic whose research focused on Polish and Slavic linguistics. They also emphasize Professor’s achievements as a valued teacher and science organizer.
