Abstract
According to a report of the Association of Business Service Leaders in Poland, Łódź is one of the biggest BPO centres in Poland. Consequently, there is a increasing demand on the Łódź labour market for multilingual speakers and in particular for German speakers. This article includes the analysis of the project, which was conducend in 2017 at the University of Lódź in cooperation with a company from the same region. The aim of this paper is to present the role of the Germanist on the labour market.
