Abstract

The paper describes The Bibliography, Bibliometrics, and Information Resources Network Independent Section. The text presents the reasons for setting up this Section, the range of its duties, and the examples of tasks done there. The bibliometrics and the registration of the scientific achievements of the staff of the Łódź University are described in a more detail way.
