Społeczna percepcja projektów nowego podziału administracyjnego Polski oraz lokalne preferencje administracyjne mieszkańców w rejonie radomszczańskim

Abstract

The paper represents the results of a research on the social reaction o f the inhabitants of the Radomsko region to the proposed future units of the administrative division of Poland. The study comprises also an analysis of the level of social and economic development of the potential district chief towns. The spatial range of survey covered several communes and towns situated along the border of the former Łódź voivodship. Nowadays, the area in question is situated in the border of the voivodships of Częstochowa and Piotrków. The investigation shows that the reform of the administrative division of Poland is considerad necessary. According to the results of an inquiry, the advocates of the new, three-tier division slightly outnumber its opponents. The cities of Częstochowa and Radomsko turned out to be the most important for the local population since they were the most frequently mentioned as the future district chief towns. The cataloging of social, cultural and technical appointments proved that the towns of Pajęczno and especially Radomsko are able to assume in the future a role of district centres. As regards the affiliation to a voivodship, the preference ol Łódź weakens proportionally to the number of proposed voivodships. The Łódź voivodship looses its adherents in favour of the voivodships of Częstochowa (25), Kielce (17), and Katowice (17). In respect of a range of influence, the most favourable for Łódź is the project of creating 12 new voivodships. In this case the Łódź voivodship would recover the borders from before 1975.

Przedmiotem opracowania jest analiza wyników badań terenowych dotyczących społecznych ciążeń mieszkańców rejonu radomszczańskiego do proponowanych nowych jednostek podziału terytorialnego kraju oraz poziomu rozwoju gospodarczego, społecznego i zagospodarowania potencjalnych ośrodków powiatowych. Najczęściej wymieniane jako przyszłe ośrodki powiatowe były Pajęczno i Radomsko, posiadające najlepsze wyposażenie w zakresie infrastruktury społecznej, technicznej i kulturalnej, jeśli zaś chodzi o projekty nowego podziału, to województwo łódzkie traci tu zwolenników na rzecz województw częstochowskiego (wariant 25 województw) kieleckiego (warianty 17 i 25) i katowickiego (wariant 17). Natomiast najlepsze notowania ma w przypadku utworzenia w Polsce 12 województw, odzyskując praktycznie granice sprzed 1975 r.
