Abstract

Accordingly to changing rules of management of Polish economy rules and tasks of the computer centers in enterprises are changing. Up till now computer centers have taken care of data processing mainly for statistical purposes, not having paid great attention ti current problems of businessmen. At present in foreign trade enterprises there are big Electronic Data Processing Sections with big computers, but also microcomputers PC/AT or PC/XT, connected or not with the main computer start to work. Personal computers support decision-making process in executive export-import sections. Process of building the quality new structure of computer systems is complicated. Problems of it are presented on the example of the Chemical Import-Export Enterprise Ciech-Stomil.
