Abstract

The main aim of this dissertation is to investigate the rules of accentuation in the contemporary Russian language, which is done in order to reveal the most common tendencies and their activeness in the spoken language used by two groups of respondents (Russian students of Smolensk State University and Belorussian students from Brest State University).
