The seventeenth century in France is often regarded as the age of rhetoric - but different writers cultivated different kinds of rhetorical art. In this specification the theory of Belgian philosopher Michel Meyer may be useful. Research financed by Polish National Centre Science (KBN; DEC --2012/04/S/HS2/00161)pl_PL
