The article presents the structural and ownership changes in hotels in the Łódź region between 1985 and 2001. The problem is analysed in both quantitative and qualitative aspects, as well as in the context of its spatial distribution and transformations in ownership structure. W artykule zaprezentowano przemiany strukturalne i własnościowe hoteli w regionie łódzkim w latach 1985 -2001. Problem rozpatrzono w aspektach zmian ilościowych, przemian jakościowych, ich rozmieszczenia przestrzennego oraz zmian w strukturze własności.
