Abstract

The experience of change is inscribed in social life. Nowadays, as a result of civilizational transformations, especially those related to the expansion of the sphere of communication due to development of the Internet and social media, these changes seem to be particularly dynamic. The aim of the Introduction from the Editor is to highlight this fact and to encourage a discussion on the strength and quality of the experience of change, especially in the generational perspective. In this context, the theme of generation is outlined and the question is raised to what extent this is still a viable concept and whether it is being misused today. The introduction also includes a justification of the subject matter of the texts collected in the volume.

Doświadczenie zmiany wpisane jest w życie społeczne. Współcześnie, na skutek zmian cywilizacyjnych, zwłaszcza związanych z rozszerzeniem pola komunikacji przez rozwój interentu i mediów społecznościowych, zmiany te wydają się szczególnie dynamiczne. Przedmiotem wstępu jest podkreślenie tego faktu oraz zachęta do podjęcia dyskusji na temat siły i jakości doświadczenia zmiany, zwłaszcza w perspektywie pokoleniowej. W tym kontekście zarysowano temat pokolenia i postawiono pytanie, w jakim stopniu jest to koncepcja wciąż nośna, a w jakim współcześnie nadużywana. Wstęp zawiera również uzasadnienie tematyki zebranych w tomie tekstów.
