dc.description.abstractW publikacji czytelnik znajdzie analizę sztuki nowych mediów jako dyskursu krytycznego wobec technik i ideologii cyfrowego nadzoru. Autor w tym kontekście prezentuje strategie artystyczne: od wczesnych przykładów net artu po prace prezentowane podczas ostatnich edycji festiwali sztuki nowych mediów. Zagadnienie upowszechniających się technologii śledzenia i nadzoru w świecie funkcjonalnie zależnym od mechanizmów komunikacji sieciowej zostało ujęte kompleksowo, także w aspekcie historycznym - od Internetu wczesnej generacji przez mobilną technologię sieciową po technologie biometryczne. Badania wykorzystane w tej książce zostały sfinansowane ze środków Narodowego Centrum Nauki przyznanych na podstawie decyzji numer DEC-2011/03/B/HS2/05253pl_PL
