Wokół dramatu Eduarda De Filippo Napoli Milionaria!

Abstract

The subject of the present paper is to discuss selected, available paratexts and metatexts referring to the play by Neapolitan playwright Eduardo De Filippo, entitled Napoli Milionaria! In order to make this analysis more workable, the author of the play as well as its main problem are discussed in the first place, prior to analyzing particular paratexts and metatexts. The research material embraces: the title of the play, footnotes and critical remarks by Z. Tobiasz, entitled Uwagi inscenizacyjne as well as reviews of the play performed on the basis of this comedy in Poland (only the parts which refer directly to its textual layer).
