Abstract

Artykuł ukazuje na przykładzie dwóch znanych postaci życia społeczno-kulturalnego Niemiec: Eriki Steinbach (Związek Wypędzonych) i Güntera Grassa meandry ciągle powracającej odpowiedzialności za wydarzenia lat 1939–1945 i próby „odwrócenia” rzeczywistego obrazu przez niektóre kręgi polityczne.

The article presents the meanders of the recurring responsibility for 1939–1945. Erika Steinbach (The Association of the Expelled) and Günter Grass, two internationally famous representatives of German social and cultural life, serve here as examples. The work also demonstrates the attempts of revision of the real picture of the period under scrutiny by selected political circles.
