| dc.description.abstract | The aim of this article is to measure the influence of: IT and communication systems logistic
competences and the transport-spedition-logistic branch on the development of virtual supply
chain. Moreover, actions enabling the effective formation of virtual supply chains in the enterprises
are proposed. Based on results of the survey of Silesian businesses having significant influence
on regional development and the competitiveness of the economy, a statistical analysis of
