Katedra Bibliotekoznawstwa i Informacji Naukowej UŁ jako ośrodek badań bibliologicznych (1945–2015)

Abstract

In this article the author resumed the history of the Chair of Library and Information Science of the University of Lodz. She presented changes that in 70s took place in the organisation and working of this institution that, as the first one in Poland, in 1945 took up the education of librarians on the academic level. In the first place the author concentrated so presented main courses of the scientific and research works conducted in the past and at present. The description is supplemented with appropriate photographies.
