"Ekonomia grantów” K. E. Bouloinga. Ogólny zarys koncepcji
Streszczenie
The author of the article advances a thesis following K. E. Boulding that despite predominance of the type of social relations based on the principle of exchange in the capitalist society, there is increasingly more common another type of social relations characterized by a unidirectional flow of values (material and nonmaterial goods or monies). A common feature of these flows is the fact that their launching does not result from economic activity.
According to K. E. Boulding, an economic theory describing this type of relations is the so-called "economics of grants" i.e. "economics of gifts". Application of the concept of grants in the capitalist society can be met in management of resources earmarked for charities and finances from public resources, as well as for welfare and other activities financed from the state budget.
Principles of "economics of grants" find also their application in relation to the socialist economy, and although the scope and mode, in which certain economic categories are put into effect, has undergone changes principles of "economics of grants" may be helpful in the sphere of resources allocation.
