Zróżnicowanie przestrzenne zagranicznych destynacji turystycznych młodzieży na przykładzie wyjazdów turystycznych młodzieży licealnej Słupska i Częstochowy

Abstract

The issue of tourist destinations is substantial in the research on the tourist activity. The presented article is the analysis of spatial range of present and past tourist departures of the two secondary school youth groups – from Słupsk and from Częstochowa. Scope of travels, undertaken by both examined groups, was described in relation to the past, present and future travels. Maps of past, present and future departures show that travel destinations of both examined populations are similar and mainly include popular tourist regions of South and Mediterranean Europe, Western and Central-Eastern Europe. The comparative analysis of past, present and future departures’ space shows a major correlation of past and future departures’ space and a smaller correlation of future and present tourist destinations with the declared space of future departures. Moreover, the spatial ranges of departures of both youth groups are highly correlated with data on spatial ranges of international tourist movement globally.
