Foreign Trade of SME-s in Poland in the European Integration Process
Streszczenie
The aim of the paper is to analyse and evaluate the foreign trade of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Poland against the backdrop of deepening and widening of the European integration process. Such firms are
exposed to strong competitive pressures, when barriers to goods, services and capital movements disappear within the integrated area. SMEs in the new Member States will probably adjust their export strategies. A common policy
towards SMEs and national policies strengthen competitive advantages of
domestic firms.
