Świat sztuki w czasach pandemii. Antologia strategii
Streszczenie
The article is an attempt to register the changes that have been occurred in the global world of visual art under the influence of coronavirus pandemic. The author formulates the anthology of strategies implemented by persons related to the artworld: artists, museologists, critics, art dealers, educators, and – last but not least – the public. Among described strategies there are: escape strategy, virtualization strategy and publicistic strategy (art as a medium of commenting on social aspect of a pandemic). All of them are substantiated with examples of Polish and international artistic life. Individual strategies vary depending on the level of artist’s involvement in current social issues, the way of coping with social isolation and the idea about how to reformulate previous activity. All strategies are affected by the fear of being unnoticed and the need for defining the sense of difficulties experienced.
