Analiza porównawcza długofalowych strategii Zjednoczonych Emiratów Arabskich – Vision2021, Principles of the 50’ i We the UAE 2031

Abstract

Artykuł ten ma na celu przedstawienie, porównanie i ocenę wykonania trzech wybranych długofalowych strategii Vision2021, Principles of the 50’ oraz We the UAE 2031 opublikowanych przez Zjednoczone Emiraty Arabskie. Poprzez analizę tych planów widoczne stają się cele rządzących ZEA. Dążą oni do wytworzenia świadomości narodowej wśród obywateli federacji poprzez zaangażowanie ich w budowę nowoczesnej, silnej i zdywersyfikowanej gospodarki opartej na najnowszych technologiach. Jednocześnie zagadnienia przedstawione w planach pozostają częściowo niespełnione, co skłania do postawienia pytania, czy są one w ostateczności możliwe do zrealizowania.

The purpose of this article is to present, compare, and assess the implementation of three selected long-term strategies – Vision 2021, the Principles of the 50, and We the UAE 2031 – published by the United Arab Emirates. An analysis of these plans reveals the objectives pursued by the UAE leadership, who seeks to foster national awareness among the federation’s citizens by engaging them in the development of a modern, strong, and diversified economy founded on cutting-edge technologies. At the same time, certain issues outlined in these strategies remain only partially fulfilled, prompting the question of whether they are ultimately feasible to achieve.
