| dc.description.abstract | The article describes results of a questionnaire survey conducted on a sample of 382 persons - patients of the Geriatric Clinic in Lodz. The survey was focussed on reactions of the respondents to their retirement and on factors inducing retired people to continue their economic activity. The following demographic and social characteristics of the respondents were taken in to account: sex, age, marital status, family status, nature of performed work and materiál conditions. Objective characteristics of the respondents were correlated with their subjective motivation for willing or unwilling retirement, and undertaking income-earning work after obtaining their pensions. | pl_PL |
