| dc.description.abstract | The article aims at presentation of the experience area
of Swedish companies in the field of fusion of companies which,
in the author's opinion, may be of interest for Polish economists.
It contains general conclusions drawn on the basis of studies encompassing 24 cases of fusion of Swedish companies.
Dividing the process of fusion into three stages: strategic, tactical, and operational the author discusses problems
accompanying implementation of the tactical stage proceeding
from assumption that a prerequisite of success of the undertaking is its meticulous preparation, which is carried out just
in this stage.
Further detailed analysis includes problems of fusion financing, planned procedure of fusion, organization of fused
