The paper presents the characteristics and the role of the Internet as the global means of communicating in creating the competitive prevalence of enterprises on the market. The promotion, distribution of products and the marketing studies have been included among the nain directions of using this modern medium in marketing. Attention has been focused on Ike devices which the Internet employs in each of the three afore-mentioned applications.
