| dc.description.abstract | The origin and functions of the names of the type Pod Górą, and Za Lasem
have been examined on the basis of 598 locality names collected in 97
places of the Lublin area. The author aimed at examining their syntactic
uses in the colloquial speech of its inhabitants. The single catchword entries
were derived from rich sets of synonyms obtained from answers to
questions: Where? Where from? Where to? Genetically names of this type are
regarded to be independent adverbs of place or independent adverbial attributes.
Of some interest are also cases of multidirectional inflectional derivation,
the pluralization and singularization of names as well as the diversity
of the constituent prepositions. | pl_PL |
