Etnografia historyczna w ujęciu Bohdana Baranowskiego
Streszczenie
Bohdan Baranowski (1915–1993), a prominent Polish historian, doctor
honoris causa of the University of Łódź who had a great track record in creating
a separate school of historical ethnography. Having overcome a methodological
stereotype of classical ethnography he managed to integrate it with classical
history. Thanks to that numerous works of Professor and his students were
created and they transferred folk culture studies to the deep past, to modern
times and even to medieval times, whereas scientific value of these publications
significantly rose due to using written sources (historical ones).
